Questions people ask.
How much does a website cost in South Africa?
It depends on the number of pages, how much content needs writing, and features such as bookings, payments or connections to other systems. We quote every website individually, in rand, after a short conversation. Asking and the written quote are free, and if the first quote is more than you planned, we suggest a smaller first version.
How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the scope and how quickly content and feedback come through. Your proposal sets out the review stages and the planned launch date before any paid work starts.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every site we build has the technical foundations search engines look for: crawlable pages, descriptive titles, a sitemap, structured data and a layout that works on phones. We can also set up your Google Business Profile. Rankings depend on competition and relevance, so nobody can honestly guarantee a position.
Do you use templates, WordPress or Wix?
No. We design and build each site for the business it belongs to. Every site comes with the JOV Dashboard, where you can edit content, read the enquiries the site receives and see how it is being used.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. Prices, photos, news and other content you change often can be edited in the dashboard. If you would rather send changes to us, we arrange that as part of ongoing care.
Who owns the work?
Your domain, content and customer data are yours. On final payment, the design and code we wrote for your project become yours too. Third-party tools and JOV platform services keep their own licence terms, and we explain those in the handover.
Do you only build websites in Gqeberha?
No. We are based in Gqeberha and build websites for businesses across South Africa, working over calls, email, WhatsApp and shared previews.
