For JOV clients
JOV Dashboard
The JOV Dashboard is where a business whose website we built looks after it: change the words and pictures, read the enquiries the site brings in, see how it is being used, and decide who else on the team can do the same.
It comes with the website. There is nothing extra to buy and nothing to install — it runs in a browser, and we set the account up for you when your site goes live.
Accounts are created by us for clients whose sites we host and support. There is no public sign-up.
What you do in it.
Your words and pictures.
Write and publish pages, news and project entries. Upload images to a shared library, give them alt text, and reuse them anywhere on the site.
Every enquiry, in one place.
Read what people send through your forms, mark what you have dealt with, and export the lot to a spreadsheet. Notifications go to the addresses you choose.
What the site is doing.
Visitors, pages, and where people came from, without an advertising network in the middle. Any visitor record can be erased on request, by you, in a click.
Who else can get in.
Invite the colleagues who need access, set whether they can change settings, and remove them the day they leave.
Signing in with Google.
We do not make you invent another password. You sign in with a Google account you already have, Google confirms who you are, and the dashboard takes it from there.
What we ask Google for
openid, email, profile
The permissions that identify you. When you approve the sign-in, Google tells us:
- the identifier Google uses for your account
- your name, as your Google account states it
- your email address, and whether Google has verified it
- your profile picture, if your account has one
What we never touch
Your email, your files, your calendar and your contacts. We do not ask for permission to read any of them, so we could not if we wanted to.
And afterwards
Your name, email address and picture identify you to your own colleagues inside the dashboard. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or used to train an AI model. You can disconnect us from your Google account at any time, or email hello@jov.co.za to have the account deleted outright.
JOV's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The full account is in our privacy notice, and the terms that cover a dashboard account are in our terms.
